How can I pay?
We accept cash on delivery, or you can pay online with Wechat Pay and Alipay when you place your order with us online. Unfortunately we can not accept Wechat or Alipay payments to our couriers on delivery. Our couriers can bring a POS card reader to local Union pay and local credit cards, but you need to leave a note in the comments section.
Our office orders all the time, can we get an account with Nosh?
Yes, many of our company clients prefer to pay once a month and get the fapiao before settling the payment. This eliminates the hassle of having cash ready for those meeting lunch deliveries or figuring out who paid and need the reimbursement. Contact our Customer Service on tel. 64950307, then we'll setup your account.
It seems I didn't get my fapiao with the order?
We have previously experienced a high number of mistakes in fapiao titles, and customers not being serviced with their fapaios to a satisfactory level. So from February 2015 we introduced a system where the fapiaos will be issued within one week from the request. Hence you simply go to your account
and click "Issue fapiaos", then we will proceed the request and send them to you with our delivery staff. Under your account, you can also see your previous orders and see which fapiaos are already issued.
How long will it take from ordering till food arrives?
Nosh is an instant food delivery service. When you place the order, we will start preparing the food immediately. However, we do prepare our dishes from fresh ingredients and delivery time can hence vary depending on which items you ordered and how busy our kitchen is.
Nosh delivers most of our orders within 30 to 35 min, but like any other resturants we have peaks that will cause longer delivery times.
12:00 - 14:00 Nosh is usually very busy and delivery time can be 45 to 60 minutes.
18:00 - 21:00 Nosh experiences peaks that are difficult to predict and delivery times can reach or exceed 45 min.
If you need your food urgently, you should order sandwiches as they are usually faster to prepare.
Are you using organic products ?
The Nosh team has a background in fine-dining and we rely on the same suppliers of high-quality ingredients as our restaurants. We're dedicated to great-tasting and healthy food, and use organic products wherever possible. Take our salads, for example: they're from 'StarFarm', a system set up by German company Metro that allows us, the buyer, to trace produce back to the farm, ensuring superior quality every time.
Can I order outside the delivery area ?
Unfortunately not. We use our own dedicated team of drivers to ensure speed, quality and freshness of food, and to maintain those standards we limit our delivery zone. If you are living beyond our delivery zone you are welcome to send us an e-mail and we will inform you when Nosh opens in your area.
WHAT THEY SAY
Nosh's food is excellent. On par with Element Fresh at probably 2/3rds of the price.
Neverboring at ShanghaiExpat
Had Nosh 3 times now. Really like their cous cous salad and mushroom quiche. The recipes are definitely from a German kitchen, even the Thai green curry.

Tried the pesto chicken ciabatta sandwich, which was packed with chicken and had a good balance of roasted red peppers and arugula.

A quicker, cheaper alternative to Element Fresh
They're doing some pretty unique stuff like Beijing duck wraps, oxtail and black truffle lasagne, beef cheek goulash. If that's too exotic for you, it looks like they're doing some simple stuff too like turkey and Gruyere on a baguette or roast beef with red onion jam on sourdough.
The Ciabatta, the best bread I have had in a long time, huge chunks of chicken, and the just generally good quality ingredients

Nosh's business is healthy, affordable and high-quality Western food made with fresh ingredients. (...) We tried the tasty tabouleh with pitta and the Beijing duck wrap, and both were top-notch - flavorful and fresh
Nosh gets my seal of approval for their service, quality and price point.
Austin Hu, CityWeekend
A great new delivery service dreamed up by entrepreneurs Gian and Alex. It offers uncomplicated, fresh (a lot of their ingredients are traceable), and well prepared western food to satisfy your appetite for lunch or dinner. There's a great selection of sandwiches (two words: Salami Ciabatta), salads (they're big!), quiches, and some extremely tasty classic entrees with a twist (beef cheek goulasch). (..) We like Nosh...and we're thinking Shanghai will as well!

The small sugar cookie served as a well-rounded finish to the express lunch. And all of this for 52元 and appearing in my apartment in a quarter of an hour, Nosh’s lunch set has to be one of the best deals in town.
